Straw Hats for Fishing and Boating
Plan a wide-brim straw hat around the way your customers, crew or program will use it. Compare starting styles, under-brim directions, chin-cord configurations, branding options and sample checks before requesting an order-specific review.
Sample type, cost, dispatch timing and any bulk-order credit are confirmed after the selected product, artwork and review scope have been evaluated. Review the Sample Policy.
Share your intended use, logo, quantity range, destination and required in-hand date. Available options and commercial terms will be reviewed against the selected product and project requirements.

Plan Around the Way the Hat Will Be Used
The right starting point depends on more than appearance. Tell us where the hat will be worn, who will
receive it and how it will be packed or distributed. These details help define what should be checked during
product selection and sampling.

Review the Details That Matter on the Water
Use the feature diagram to identify the construction and branding decisions that need to be confirmed for
your project. The diagram is a planning aid; final performance depends on the selected product, material,
dimensions and approved sample.

Choose a Starting Hat Direction
Start with the closest product direction from our lifeguard straw hat styles, then refine the under-brim, chin
cord, branding and packing requirements. Each product card links to a verified PDP for product-specific
images and specifications.

Natural-straw, hollow-straw and mixed-weave descriptions identify different product directions; they do not establish a performance ranking. Share the expected water proximity, salt exposure, humidity, storage and frequency of use so the selected body, components and sample checks can be reviewed.

From Project Brief to Bulk Review
Fishing and Boating Hat FAQ
Yes, a dark or solid-color under-brim can be reviewed as a design direction on compatible styles. Confirm the selected color, lining construction, attachment and appearance through the relevant mockup and physical sample. Do not treat color alone as proof of a quantified glare-reduction result.
Available directions may include adjustable cords with different colors and toggle or buckle styles. The exact cord material, attachment, adjustment range and compatibility depend on the selected product. Review the complete configuration on a physical sample before bulk approval.
Natural-straw hats should not be presented as waterproof equipment. If water resistance is important, include the expected exposure and required test method in the project brief so suitable materials, construction options and supporting evidence can be reviewed. Keep the product away from prolonged soaking unless an approved specification states otherwise.
UPF wording should only be used when the applicable material, liner or finished product has suitable test support. A wide brim provides physical shade, but shade coverage and a tested UPF rating are not the same claim. Share the destination market and required performance standard for review.
Depending on the selected straw body and artwork, directions may include rubber or PU-style patches, leather or alternative-material patches, fabric or embroidered patches and printed graphics. Artwork detail, size, position and attachment must be reviewed for the chosen product.
Custom printed under-brims can be reviewed on compatible styles. Provide the artwork, color references and intended visual scale. The final print method, placement, edge relationship and result should be approved through the applicable mockup and sample.
Size direction depends on the selected product and target wearer. Share the intended adult, youth or mixed-wearer program and any measurement references. Confirm finished dimensions (in inches), fit and chin-cord configuration through the product specification and sample rather than relying on a universal-fit statement.
They depend on the selected style, material, artwork, decoration, quantity, size mix, packing and delivery requirements. TerraHats will review the current project before confirming MOQ, sample scope, pricing and production timing.
Packing should be confirmed for the selected hat structure, quantity and destination. Define individual packing, shape protection, carton quantity, mixed-SKU identification, barcodes and shipping marks before the bulk specification is locked.
